418 Gloucester Bag Machine

The 418 Gloucester Bag Machine was designed to utilize a Swagelok tm captured oring boss compression fitting for hard tubing. 

These original fittings require special steel tubing that Gloucester Engineering did not sell.

It also required a dual ferrule compression fitting that had a small window of tightening to maintain a seal. The correct tightening of  the compression fitting was achieved with a special gauge that was inserted into the fitting. Most maintenance personnel have never seen one.

The kits here will convert to a JIC fitting to allow hoses with swivel ends to be utilized.

This aids in vibration and leak resistant properties as well as flexible routing of lines without special bent hard tubing.
